Jogging Stroller Cover

Can you fix a tire that has been over inflated and stretched the outer part of the tire?

I bought a Jogging Stroller (has what looks like bicycle tires)used and the tire must have been aired up too much and the tube was showing. I let some air out but the outer tire will still not cover up the tube inside??? I think that it stretched the outer tire too much. Any suggestions on how to fix? Or do I have to replace the whole tire now? Thanks

I think most likely what happened is the tire bead became unseated from the rim. You should try to deflate the tire completely, and try to stuff the bead of the tire back into the rim and go around the rim to make sure they are all in, then try to inflate the tire to make sure it looks ok.

You should use a plastic tire lever (don’t use a flat screwdriver, it will puncture the tire) to help you out, if it still wont work you may have to take off the tire and see whats going on, it could be the bead become separated and you would have to replace the tire then.
