Stroller Seat

Does a car seat and stroller have to be the same make and model in order for them to work together?
We have a car seat and want a stroller that the car seat can lock in to…do they have to be the same make and model in order for this to work?
It depends on the stroller. Some brands only work with their own car seats and others work with multiple models. Typically if you have the same brand stroller and car seat they fit together a little more easily and sometimes actually “click” together. If it is a different brand it may not fit the exact same way and may have a strap to secure the car seat. I had a the Snap N Go frame stroller and LOVED it. http://www.stroller-obsession.com/snap-n-go-stroller.html Its inexpensive and super light weight. I would even look for one used on Craigslist. Since your baby will never actually touch the stroller (the baby is always in the car seat) you don’t have to worry about germs from the previous owner. You can use this stroller for 6-9 months until your child outgrows the infant carrier car seat. That gives you some time to figure out what is really important to you in a stroller and get the best one for your next few years of use.
